Nathan Harris and The Flood are talented, funky, and soulful and always bring the party!
We saw these guys playing a set at The Pour House between our local favorites, Triple Wide and Fatmouth, and just had to get them down East!
Nathan Harris is a guitarist and singer-songwriter originally from Harmony, NC. After years of hired-gun work with a myriad of NC bands across many genres, Nathan started the Flood in the summer of 2024, and released his first solo EP “Moving On” in December of the same year.
The Flood is a collective of Charlotte based musicians, whose goal is to come together as artists of different backgrounds and styles, to create and explore sonically with one another. Though rooted in groove-rock, the Flood is sure to bring you some of your favorite classic covers from America’s rich musical tapestry, with a heavy mix of original music (primarily written by Harris, with songs also written by Javier Pizarro, keys & vocals), and some cosmic instrumental experimentation you will not find anywhere else.
