Horrie Long Reserve Playground: Drop in Session

Drop-in sessions allow the public to meet with City staff to ask questions about the project, seek clarification and guidance on how to best submit feedback.
Join the Horrie Long drop-in session at the following date and time:
When: Saturday 19 July 2025
Where: Horrie Long Reserve (next to the eastern playground)
Time: 9:00 am - 10:30am
Horrie Long is a beloved community space that combines natural beauty with recreational facilities. Surrounded by a canopy of Tuart trees, it offers a peaceful environment for relaxation and play. The park features a play area, basketball hoop, nature play, seating, public toilets, and a picnic area with a BBQ, making it perfect for families, locals, and visitors to enjoy both active and leisurely activities.
Weβre planning a playground renewal for equipment which is over 20 years old and would love to hear your ideas. Community feedback will guide the new design and style of the new playground. This project will promote physical and cognitive development, creativity, and a connection to the environment.
