Flute Cocktail at Manitowoc Public Library

Stop by Manitowoc Public Library before or after your visit to the Downtown Farmers Market—or just to pay us a visit!—for the dulcet tones of Flute Cocktail on Saturday, July 19, between 10 AM and 11 AM. Manitowoc's very own flute choir will be making an appearance in MPL's Outer Lobby that morning, performing a program of "Circus" music, which includes pieces like "Baby Elephant Walk," "A Million Dreams" from the movie "The Greatest Showman," and Barnum & Bailey's Favorite March. What a melodiously fun way to kick off a Saturday in summer! A flute choir is an ensemble which contains flutes of varying sizes—piccolos, C flutes, altos and bass. The members of Flute Cocktail are all local flute players who get together and perform in retirement homes and venues around Manitowoc and Two Rivers.
