Where: MoonBell Beadery
Class Fee: Free! To keep our classes fee-free, we do ask that you purchase your supplies at MoonBell Beadery.
This week we will be delving into the world of Chinese knotting, or macramé. Chinese knots were initially used for fastening and binding, then for record keeping, then moved into more complex symbolic and decorative uses. In modern times, Chinese knotting is a traditional art form with deep symbolic meaning.
While our sample is a necklace, you can make yours into a bracelet, earrings, or even a keychain!
You will need:
- .5mm Nylon Cord
- Czech Glass Rune Stone Beads x4
- Lucky Knot Charm
- 8° Seed Beads
- Slider Bead (or Clasp)
