August ORAS meeting

We have a special treat this year and are excited to announce a bonus meeting in August prior to our traditional September kickoff! We will meet at 7:00 pm on Thurs., August 7 at Sandy Creek Nature Center for a presentation by UGA master's student Nicole Kemon. Nicole will present on her research on understanding how people perceive and handle disease risks at bird feeders. She will also suggest cleaning methods and invite volunteers to join a study using feeder cleaning kits to promote responsible cleaning. Volunteers will receive instructions, a cleaning kit, and a new Brome feeder to keep after the study.
