Meditation is a practice that involves using different techniques to focus and clear the mind. The practice of meditation is thousands of years old. Scientific studies have shown that it can reduce stress anxiety and even lower blood pressure. Everyone can benefit from and enjoy the refreshing feeling of meditation, even its just for a few minutes a day. This session will introduce you to simple breathing techniques, the use of mantras (repetitive phrase or sound) and guided meditation. No prior meditation experience is required.
