This river is home to the birth of steep creeking, and this film reviews the early history of the sport, told by those who were here to live it.
THE GRAND SALMON | 52.5 minutes | by Jess Wiegandt | United States | Short synopsis: The Grand Salmon is an environmental documentary following the journey of three women who paddled 1,000 miles to recreate the journey wild salmon make each year to the Pacific Ocean. With eight dams along the way, these women experience why salmon populations are dwindling and explore what must be done to bring them back from the brink of collapse.
