Special Historic House Tours with Costumed Interpreter

Step back in time to the 1940s. Join us for special tours at 11am & 1pm led by an Alida Harper Fowlkes costumed interpreter. Alida herself will be giving tours of her beautiful Orleans Square home. The tours will take place at the house and will be given in 1st person from the perspective of Alida Harper Fowlkes, the early Savannah preservationist who purchased the home in 1939. Regular admission applies. Harper Fowlkes House is open 10AM-3PM Saturday, Aug. 9. Harper Fowlkes House is owned by the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Georgia and operated by Coastal Heritage Society.
