Shore Things Opening

Join us for the opening of Shore Things - a four-artist show celebrating the visuals of coastal areas with artists, each with their own distinctive style and approach. Jennifer Nolan's detailed oil painting technique gives her animal subjects an all too human personality. Melody Postma's Pop Art mixed media pieces capture a retro beach charm with bold color and graphics; all burnished with differing layers of encaustic wax. Peter E. Roberts has produced multi-dimensional papercut assemblages of island travel posters both real and imaginary. Kurtis Schumm builds visual tension with loose strokes painted backwards on clear acrylic.
Gallery profits from show are donated to Ossabaw Island Foundation
