Melville Bird Sanctuary Information Kiosk & Birdwatching Walk

We invite you to visit our Melville Bird Sanctuary Information Kiosk at the Burke Drive Sign Shelter (opp 188 Burke Dr, Attadale).

There'll be handouts including information on our migratory birds, colour-in bird drawings, stickers and booklets for the kids.

As well, register for a short (40mins) Birdwatching Walk led by Gareth Evans, leaving from the kiosk at approx 8.15am. Bring binoculars if you have them as well as a raincoat just in case. We'll have some spare pairs of binoculars on hand.

It's a great time to birdwatch and Alfred Cove is alive with birds including Musk Ducks, Australian Shelducks, Grebes, Egrets, Pied Stilts ....and more.
