The BCSV social meeting for July will be a photographic history presented by Paul Kennelly looking back on the inner south-east companies which ran the route services eventually acquired by Driver Bus Lines/Waverley Transit.
These include Shave BS, Staunton/Green Bus Lines, Curren's BS, Camden, ESOS/Royena/Casey Coaches and Nuline BS.
Our special guest will be Craig Coop who owned Nuline Bus Service.
The meeting will be held at 3pm on Sunday July 20 at Melbourne Tram Museum in Hawthorn.
A second installment covering Driver Bus Lines will feature following our AGM on Sunday 21 September.
Each meeting concludes with a short afternoon tea and chatter on the latest industry gossip.
Both members and guests are welcome to attend, free admission.
