Join us for a powerful evening of education, reflection, and civic engagement in honor of the late Congressman John Lewis and his enduring legacy of Good Trouble.
As part of the national Good Trouble Lives On day of nonviolent action, we’ll gather at the TMBC Lincoln Center in Davenport to commemorate Lewis’s work and recommit ourselves to defending democracy and civil rights.
Doors open at 6:00 PM for voter registration, information about voting rights, and informational tables hosted by local community organizations. At 7:00 PM, we’ll screen the award-winning documentary “John Lewis: Good Trouble” in the auditorium, followed by a community speakers and discussion on the attacks facing our civil and human rights.
In the spirit of Lewis, this evening will be a space of peace, solidarity, and action. All participants are expected to uphold a strong commitment to nonviolence.
