THE HEFTIES play hard and effect-laden punk rock, with phasers aplenty adding to both the atmosphere and thickness of their sound. Their Facebook bio says that the members all met on a camping trip, true story or not, you can see their friendship and camaraderie clearly on display. To add to the good vibes, they play a song called ‘Having A Good Time’ which they claim to have written specifically for this show. I call bullshit on that one. Great track though.
