Cyanotypes: Nature Prints
Advertisement
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process resulting in a dark blue image. It has been around since the early 1800s and remains an inexpensive way to print photographs. It does not require a dark room or any camera equipment. This printing process is also known for nature prints. Nature prints are created by collecting items such as leaves and flowers, then arranging them on paper to print a negative image.
In this class we will discuss materials, the process and how to create successful prints. We will collect materials to make a nature print and create a photo negative to print.
Class Fee: $70
