Beginning Mushroom Foraging

Learn about the magical world of mushrooms at Beginning Mushroom Foraging on Sundays, July 6, 13 & 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in The Studio and outdoors.

Instructor Lee Schuler will start each class with a short slide presentation, sharing how to identify various types of wild mushrooms, including some of the most popular and common edible mushrooms, and information on safety and sustainability. Students will then move into the woods for hands-on training. Question and answer periods will also be included.

$100 for the entire series or $45/class. Register at https://allerton.illinois.edu/events/beginning-mushroom-foraging/ by July 4 or one day prior to subsequent classes. All sales are final.

PLEASE NOTE: Foraging at Allerton is not allowed except as part of this Farms class.
