This is open to anyone that wants to try the rapids for the first time. Generally, this is a small group of adults and kids...
So there is a short intro rapids paddle downriver from Worlds End CastleConnell (CC) to playground at CC. If you or your kids have SUP'd with us already then you/they will be able to take this on. Firstly this is only open to kids aged 10 or more and SUP with us regularly and can swim with lifejacket on. All must have a full wetsuit, Helmet (bike or skate will do), Footware (runners will do) and lifejacket.
You will probably come off the board and submerge, so you or your kid must be very comfortable with this. All kids will be on their own board for this paddle. More important it is lots of fun with lots of dips in the water over most of the gentle rapids
Meeting at 18:30pm, on the water for 19:00pm, at the location below.
Some cars will stay at this location and others will be at the end of the paddle at the playground at CC. We will organise this once we see who turns up.

Once you have you own gear then all are welcome, the more the merrier.
This is a weekly social gathering of all sorts of paddlers. Not just SUP'ers!! From complete novices to regular paddlers.
Its a great opportunity to explore picturesque waterways of Clare/Limerick. More importantly a chance to meet new people while cruising and chillaxing on the waterways.
