Nourish with Nettle: An Evening of Plant Connection and Wellness

DESCRIPTION: Join Lea Sevigny and Tammy Coleman for an evening of plant connection and wellness at beautiful Roselle Park. Participants will work with Stinging Nettle as tea, food, and herbal preparations, as well as participate in gentle yoga and mindfulness practices. We will be moving, breathing, and using our senses in nature to experience gratitude and abundance.

CONDITIONS: After meeting at the multi-purpose building, we’ll be outside in the vicinity of Nettle patches. We’ll enjoy samples of tea, food, and herbal remedies.

BRING: Please bring a beach towel and water bottle for yoga to ensure the best self-care for this experience. You are welcome to bring foraging supplies, such as a bag or basket, scissors/hand pruners, and gloves for nettles. We will have extra supplies on hand for you to use.

BIOs:
Dr. Coleman’s experience in teaching anatomy and physiology informs her yoga, meditation and mindfulness practice. She loves to teach outside, using nature to guide participants into calm.

Lea Sevigny connects with plants in many ways, but she especially enjoys foraging for items to make food, herbal remedies, and artistic creations. Through her business, Joyful Wildcrafting, Lea guides others to embrace the natural world.
