The Healing Benefits of Oxymels: Fire Cider

In this course we will discuss the benefits of plant medicine oxymels – mixtures of honey, vinegar, herbs and more – that have been used as medicine and tonics for centuries. We will work with herbs, alliums and rhizomes. We will learn how each one contributes healing benefits to this powerful menstrum (the liquid used to extract medicinal properties from herbs/also known as a solvent) as well as the powerful nourishing benefits of honey and apple cider vinegar. Each participant will prepare and take home an oxymel. Raw, organic honey from WEI’s hives will be available to purchase for $10 per 1-pound jar (cash only).

All are welcome – WEI classes are open to everyone.
