Indian Land, SC – This summer, Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church invites families to experience Egypt: Joseph’s Journey from Prison to Palace, a Vacation Bible School program held July 13–17 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. each evening.
Step back in time and explore the incredible story of Joseph! Children and families will discover what life was like in ancient Egypt—visiting Joseph in prison and later in his palace home, exploring a vibrant Bible-times marketplace, playing teamwork-building games, tasting Egyptian treats, and collecting Bible Memory Makers that reinforce key scripture truths.
Each evening concludes with Celebration, an energetic time of worship and storytelling that brings the day’s experiences together. Throughout the week, participants will also be encouraged to watch for “God Sightings”—everyday moments that reveal God’s presence in our lives.
Don’t miss our special “Night on the Nile” on Thursday, July 17, when families are invited to come and see firsthand what their children have experienced all week long. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate together and grow in faith as a community!
