- - - ABOUT THE BAND - - -
"πππππ π is one of the few bands I can think of that have released the volume of music they have, over three decades, and never wavered in quality." -thirdcoastreview.com
"No one has rocked, continues to rock, and will always rock Chicago like Local H." ~musicscenemedia.com
Best known for their unorthodox two-man lineup, hard rock act Local H have made a career out of straddling the fine line between indie and classic rock, cleverly framing their sardonic lyrics with a generous helping of power chords and feedback.
Local H enjoyed a commercial and critical breakthrough with 1996's As Good as Dead, they offered a bitter contemplation of success and its absence on 2004's Whatever Happened to P.J. Soles? 2020's Lifers found them making smart, hard-hitting music 25 years after their debut.
- - - -
Hailing from the western burbs of Chicago, πππππ πππππ has been preaching trash rock to the masses since 2011 when founder and guitarist, Charlie Thornton, first took the stage.
β
After years of gigging, releasing music and numerous lineup changes, this power trio is finally complete and consists of Charlie Thornton (Guitar, Vox), Rob Wash (Bass, Vox), and Mikey Cervenka (Drums).
β
Radar Waves is a melting pot of sounds culminating from the members' large list of influences. If you like, The Beatles, Local H, Foo Fighters, Alkaline Trio, MotΓΆrhead, or Limp Bizkit...chances are you will find something to enjoy in Radar Waves.
