Join us in the Summer Slam - a series of Tournaments, led by Game Ambassador Richard, showcasing our diverse game selection and many ways to play at GGC.
Challenge 2: Nidavellir games on Saturday, July 5th @ 11am to 3pm
Raise the strongest army to defeat the dragon Fafnir. Nidavellir is a great introduction to bidding games as players leverage their growing coin collection to collect sets of dwarven clans to score points. The game is played over two nearly identical ages allowing even new players the opportunity to learn from and improve their strategy mid-game.
Challenge 3: For Sale alongside Splendor and Unlock! on Thursday, July 10th from 4pm to 6pm
Join us for a series of classic games both old and new. For Sale the 1997 real estate game has players compete in two series of auctions; first, turning money into properties then turning properties back into money. The player with the most money at the end wins.
Challenge 4: Wyrmspan on Sunday, July 13th from 1pm to 4pm Are you tired of watching birds and breeding fish? Have you tried it with dragons?
Wyrmspan expands the universe of Wingspan and Finspan with an interesting economic spin. Spin around the guild track as you carefully spend your dragon coins and spelunk!
Challenge 5: One Piece alongside Cowboy Bebop on Thursday,
July 24th from 2pm to 4pm
Check out our selection of anime themed board games. You don't need to watch these shows to learn the rules. One Piece features both a competitive mode and a cooperative story mode where players work together to help the Straw Hat Pirates on their quest.
Challenge 6: Saturday, July 26th from 11am to 3pm - Come complete your collection for the Summer of Games!
Come along - and bring a friend. Game ambassadors will be available to teach and play any of the games listed on the 2025 Summer of Games card. We will help set up and teach any of the SoG games with 2 or more players. Bring your 2025 SoG bingo cards!
