“I’ve heard yoga or Pilates would be great for me… but I’ve no idea where to start.”
That was one of the most common things I heard during lovely conversations at the Abbey Mill Summer Fair – and it really struck a chord.

Another phrase I heard over and over?
� “I’m not flexible enough to do yoga.”

Let’s bust that myth right now.

Flexibility is NOT a requirement. It’s a result that can come with time – and more importantly, yoga and Pilates are about so much more than stretching.

� That’s why we’re inviting you to a gentle Introduction to Yoga & Pilates designed especially for beginners or those returning to practice. You’ll be guided through:

� The breathwork fundamentals – the core of both practices (each with their own unique approach)
� The role of props and adaptations – how they support your body and make movement more accessible
� A mindset of compassion: There’s no “perfect” posture. Every body is different. Every day is different. What matters most is that you show up, breathe, move, and reconnect.

This class is a safe space to explore movement without pressure. Whether you’re managing joint pain, worried about mobility, or simply curious but unsure where to begin – this is for you.
