Join Us in Celebrating Lita’s Remarkable Life
Our beloved Lita has spent her life giving—comfort, joy, and love—to her community. From rescued pup in the streets to AKC K9 Good Citizen, she became a certified therapy dog, bringing solace to memory care residents, smiles to classrooms, calm to people who needed her, and most deeply, peace to hospice patients as Rainbow Hospice’s on‑staff therapy dog for several years.
Even after retirement, Lita stayed active, contributing to a dog anti‑aging study at Texas A&M and helping to foster more than 100 dogs as their loving big sister.
As her time draws near, we want to honor her while she’s still here. Join us for an afternoon to celebrate Lita’s life, reminisce, and give her all the pets and treats she can enjoy.

Meeting her friends and followers will be her last thing on her bucket list before we let her enjoy whatever remaining days she has left.
