The death of 119 people in the Texas floods is just the latest disaster caused by a warming world. Scientists say that climate change is increasing much faster than they expected. We are already at the 'safe'1.5 degrees limit and are on course for 2.7 degrees by 2100. Yet Governments and corporations are cutting back on attempts replace fossil fuels and other measures to combat climate change. Why is this happening and what can we do about it?
