Magpie, in coalition with the Cortland County Historical Society is pleased to offer a Summer Sunday Stitcher's Series to those folks interested in participating the the "Bloomer Costume Challenge", to be shown off at CCHS's Gala on October 25th!
Each Sunday Stitcher's Session will include opportunities to work with your pre-purchased 1855 Reform Dress Pattern (available at the Historical Society) Topics covered will be :
*Resizing your pattern
*Fabric Selection
*Pattern Layout
*Sewing your garment
*Embroidery and Embellishment
The Sunday Stitcher's Series will be held select Sundays between the hours of 12pm-3pm at Magpie Custom Creations. Materials needed for each of the topics above will be available, at cost.
Magpie asks each stitcher for $10 per hour of instruction/studio time, to defray studio costs.
