The Canadian Chamber Choir is celebrating 25 years of powerful live performance and community-building through choral singing. This August, we’re bringing that celebration to Nova Scotia — the province where it all began, when our founding singers first came together as members of the National Youth Choir of Canada. (And yes — a few of us from that original ensemble will be back on the risers for this tour!)
For this special concert, the CCC will be joined by Sherryl Sewepagaham (Cree/Dene) — our collaborator on the 2024 album Where Waters Meet, as well as bass clarinetist Jeff Reilly who appears on our 2019 release, Seasons of Life and Landscape. The program offers a musical reflection on 25 years of artistry and connection, featuring repertoire that celebrates the ensemble’s journey as Canada’s only professional choir with national representation and nearly 40 tours to communities from coast to coast to coast.
