- Open to public 4 PM
- Tasting and voting from 4 PM to 5 PM
- Winners announced at 5:30 PM

Where: Peacham Library Community Room
Who: Open to All Ages! Come to bake! Come to taste! Do both!
Everyone votes! Your ticket is your vote. Multiple votes allowed!


Cooks and Bakers Guidelines

Recipe:
Use a sweet recipe—cake, cookies, pie, sweet bread, coffee cake-- that can be served at room temperature.

Source:
1. Peacham Academy cookbook (1940’s), recipes posted on Library and PHA web sites and available in print at library desk
OR
2. Your own family recipe dating from before 1950

Day of contest bring:
1. A copy of recipe used
2. Two whole items. (In the case of cookies, please supply six for expert judging and as many as needed for samples) One will be for display and for our Expert Judge to taste. The second you will divide into at least 30 tiny tastes/samples for Peoples’ Choice judging. Sample cups and utensils provided by the library. You may bring a platter or tray to display your samples.

Two Prizes:
People’s Choice: Peacham Café $50 gift certificate
Tickets available at door, 4 for $1.00
Vote by dropping ticket(s) in jar in front of sweet item
No limit to number of tickets you may purchase for voting!

Best of Show: $150 King Arthur Baking Company Cooking Class
Expert Judge Rose Hattabaugh from Christopher Kimball's Milk Street will choose this
winner.
