CrazyLake to present “Murder at the O.K. Corral”
GREENFIELD – The CrazyLake Acting Company will present the family friendly comedy, “Murder at the O.K. Corral” at the H. J. Ricks Centre for the Arts at 122 W. Main St. in downtown Greenfield.
In this comedy-mystery, eccentric German director Hermet Von Kibbel drags the cast of the hokey TV western series “Days of the OK Corral” to film on location at a remote desert studio. Filming begins, the script is awful, the acting hilarious — especially from the inept star, Hoyt Hite. A fired blank turns out to be a live round, and Hermet lies dead. Was it an accident or is he the victim of an irate cast member? Or was he the target of an ancient Native American spirit hungry for vengeance? Everyone is a suspect in this hilarious, family friendly production.
Performance dates are July 11, 12 18, 19 and 20. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee is at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are available for $10 at Hometown Comics and online at crazylakeacting.com or $15 at the door before the show.
