The Swamp Stomp String Band

The Swamp Stomp String Band are a travelling band, consisting of twangy banjos, thudding double bass, gritty guitars, driving drums and a flat pack honky-tonk piano - playing rambunctious, up-tempo, old-time music infused with Bluegrass, Country, Americana, and anything else you might find pouring out of a beer (or cider) soaked, roadside dive-bar! Taking 'DIY' band to the extreme; self-recording, promoting and releasing their own original music - expect a rough and rowdy, boisterous and bawdy, theatrically extravagant performance that captures the audience’s attention time after time!

The Swamp Stomp String Band have enjoyed success playing festivals and shows across the country, including playing a headline slot on the Café Nero Stage at Black Deer Americana Festival in 2024, and a sell out show at the Fiddler's Elbow, London, in September 2024.
