You don't have to feel alone as you embark on your journey to start or grow your business. Join the Hive Collective, a joint project by Honey Art Studio and Root Reach Rise designed to build community and genuine connections.

This session will include an opportunity to move beyond surface level networking, delving deep into passions, goals and dreams with fellow entrepreneurs. The Hive Collective creates an uplifting space to grow, learn, and be your authentic self while enjoying refreshments and an art activity!

Award-winning grant consultant Melody Hernandez of Root Reach Rise will share insights from her experience securing over $40 million for small and micro-businesses and emerging nonprofits. Ericka Scott of Honey Art Studio will lead participants through a hands-on art activity, using her expertise as a Business Consultant & Instructor and Creative Director to guide creative expression and reflection.

The location is easily accessible by multiple MUNI lines and there is nearby street parking as well as parking in the Japantown Garage.
