Learn the basics of hand sewing with visible mending techniques for repairing your clothes with Nandi of @blissjoybull. This 2-hour workshop will cover sashiko-style stitches and patching garments with cotton sashiko, embroidery thread, and cotton fabrics. This workshop will also cover:
•Decorative stitches for repairing clothes
•Practical stitches for broken seams
•The best tools and materials for repairing woven garments
•How to identify woven fabrics
•Each student will create a mending sampler to practice the repair techniques
•This is an introductory class for all skill levels
•Materials included in the workshop fee.
