What this workshop will cover
This workshop is great for a beginner wanting to learn about curtain making. We will work through the day step by step covering how to measure and cut your fabric correctly before learning how to create hems and headings, join fabrics and add heading tape. We will look at the basics of pattern matching, however this will be looked at in our 2 advanced day curtain making course which will be out in 2026.
We will be creating a lined small curtain where you will be able to put your new skills into practice.

Everything you need is provided on the day.
Other things you need to know
Please note that the workshops are held upstairs. Once upstairs, the workshop space is on the same floor as the kitchen and bathroom. Refreshments are included in the fee. The workshops at LilyBoo have bought together people for a chat, to learn something new and there is always lots of laughter. Its a good idea if you wear reading glasses to bring these with you.
