Monthly Meeting & Art Demonstration with Danielle Robertson

We are very excited to have Danielle Robertson as our September Demonstrator ( in the Hall and on Zoom). Danielle will be demonstrating the process of painting a Snow Leopard and how to paint fur in pastel specifically.
Danielle Robertson is a professional realist artist working from her art studio in Melbourne.
Her diverse art practice spans over three decades. She has been the recipient of numerous art awards, commendations and art commissions which reflect and celebrate her meticulous style and visually compelling work. Her specialist subjects include wildlife, portraiture and life drawing.
An art educator Danielle has dedicated her teaching career to arts organisations including Glen Eira Cheltenham Art Group and Brighton Art Society. She prides herself on putting people at ease and encouraging them to see their fullest potential.
Her work has been showcased on covers of high-profile art magazines over successive years including the “International Artist” and “Australian Artist” magazines, together with her published featured articles exploring her unique approach to the pastel medium.
She has received many awards for both her wildlife and portraiture, strengthening her reputation as an artist with a unique visual language.
Recent award highlights include Best Animal/Wildlife work at the Pastel Society of Victoria (2023), Best Wildlife Work at Camberwell Art Show (2023) and Best Wildlife Work -2nd prize Camberwell Art Show (2024)
Danielle is a participating member of a few art groups including AGRA, Pastel Society of Victoria Australia, Pastel Society of New Zealand and The Australian Pastel Society.
