Backyard Yukon clay making session

Three hours to work together in Yukon clay that I have gathered. We will talk about gathering and options for processing the clay. We will explore handbuilding including pinch pots and coil construction. We can also make beads and pendants. Works made that afternoon will be allowed to dry and bisque-fired in Nicole's kiln, which will turn them reddish orange. Some may be pit fired in a campfire later this summer, which will turn them grey and black. $95 for this afternoon includes kiln firing - participation in pit firing would be another workshop. Min 4 ppl max 6. If the weather is dreadful we will move inside but we will work outside under a tent in light rain. Please dress for the weather.
