Interested in becoming a Support Service Provider (SSP) in Omaha?
SSPs are trained professionals who assist DeafBlind individuals with visual and environmental information, guiding, and access to their communities. This is a rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one with members of the DeafBlind community and make a real impact.
Weβre hosting an in-person SSP training for individuals who are interested in joining our team in the Omaha area. This role is ideal for students, part-time workers, or anyone looking for flexible, meaningful work. Knowledge of ASL is a plus but not required (we work with a variety of consumers who have different communication needs). Deaf people are encouraged to apply as well!
βοΈ SSPs have the freedom to accept or decline assignments based on their schedule
βοΈ Wide availability after training is strongly preferred
βοΈ A required training session will be held the Monday before the full training
