Stargazing at Jemez

Join us at Jemez Historic Site in Jemez Springs, New Mexico, for our Stargazing nighttime program on Sat., July 19, 8 - 11 p.m. Visitors will spend an evening under the stars and in the museum. Cherilynn Morrow from the NASA PUNCH (Polarimeter to Unify the Corona and Heliosphere) outreach program will give a presentation about the science behind the sun while volunteers from The Albuquerque Astronomical Society will be set up throughout the site with telescopes for nighttime sky viewing. Pueblo food and art vendors will be at the event.
This event is $10/adults and free to children 16 and younger, people with Native/Tribal affiliations, disabled veterans, foster families and FCJHS and MNMF members.
