Gyldenholt Historians' Guild - Getty Center Summer Field Trip

Members of the Gyldenholt Historians Guild and friends are welcome to come out to the Getty Center to enjoy a fun day together checking out the exhibits.

Both the "Symbols and Signs: Decoding Medieval Manuscripts" and "Artemisia's Strong Women: Rescuing a Masterpiece" exhibitions are on display this day (plus the Getty Center's general items including manuscripts, garden and other special exhibitions of less interest to the SCA period).

Logistics:
Everyone is responsible for getting their own Getty tickets which are free through their website; be aware there is a cost per-car for parking so carpooling is recommended. Arriving any time after 10 am opening is fine as we will be visiting at our pace and groupings. (We can certainly coordinate as a group to meet up in the courtyard for post-visiting snacks and discussions as everyone's desires & schedules permit.)
