Day 1 (Alan Bedtka's farm) will cover the big picture of grazing and the impacts to soil health and improving the riparian zones. We will also cover W**d management in pastures and the economics of adaptive grazing.
Day 2 (John Meyer's Farm) will focus on the implementation of grazing practices using budget friendly fencing materials and water systems. More detailed discussion and practical uses of adaptive grazing practices which is not a rigid system or event a routine. Adaptive grazing allows the practitioner to address multiple goals and objectives, and to adjust to changing conditions.
