Cobalt on the Erie Canal

19th Century Stoneware from Lyons Pottery along the Erie Canal was a prominent local industry. Original pieces have become highly regarded and collected. This event will showcase original antique stoneware from the region. Renown lecturers, John Sladek and John Scherer, will discuss the decorators who made their unique art an integral part of the stoneware industry. Also enjoy local black and white film from approx 1910-1913 "Lyons in Action" plus complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Short annual meeting to follow.
