Ducks can be purchased at Lucky Duck Sunday, July 13th, 2025 through Saturday July 19th, 2025
Ducks are automatically entered into the race at purchase. You do not need to register on the day of the race like last year but YOU DO HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN.
Ducks can be purchased the day of the race at the booth behind Goat Ridge Brewing.
For each duck purchased, we will collect the participant’s info and assign a number to the bottom of the duck. We will give you your number(s) during checkout.
A maximum of 5 ducks may be registered per participant
Participants must be 18 or older for the adult league and under 18 for the children league.
Races start at 1 pm Sunday July 20th!
Rules:
Duck races will be divided into 2 leagues, children and adults.
One race for the adult league with 3 winners
One race for the children’s league with 3 winners
- For each league race, the entire container of ducks will be dumped over the bridge
- Ducks will float over an undercurrent, around a small bend, and down to the designated finish line
- For the children's league, the first three ducks receive gift baskets with equal cash amount prizes.
- For the adult’s league, the first duck to cross the finish line wins 1st place cash prize, the second duck, 2nd place cash prize, and third duck will win 3rd place cash prize.
- Any ties will result in a short course re-race.
-The adult league and the cash prizes are only for participants over the age of 18. No one under 18 is eligible to win. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN AND SHOW ID.
Prizes:
The grand prize for the adult race is based on participation. This event is a fundraiser for Water Days with a 50/50 cash pot split. Depending on the amount of ducks sold will dictate the amount of money to be won with a maximum pot of $2000 dollars for first place, $1000 for second place, and $500 for third place.
The grand prize for the children's races will be a gift basket from Lucky Duck of equal value.
