Introduction to Flower Arranging for Children

Houston County Master Gardeners in conjunction with the Caledonia Public Library, through the University of Minnesota Extention office, will discuss some basic design principles, including line, color and space. MG's will demonstrate how to use these principles by making three different arrangements. Parent's are invited and encouraged to attend this with their child. This is geared twoards the Children's Flower Arrangement Competition August 15th @ the County Fair.

This will take place during our reading program that day and information will be send home with the children to participate and enter the Flower Arranging for Children at the Houston County Fair.
