Wednesday Jams! at The Village Tap featuring Gretchen Witt!

Singer/Songwriter Gretchen Witt uses threads of folk, county, and pop to "weave a sound ripe with femininity and edge" (DiscoveringArtists.com). She worked as a professional musician in New York City for more than 10 years, and toured the country playing almost every major city in the U.S., as well as colleges and festivals including South by Southwest (TX), The Kerrville Folk Festival (TX),The Telluride Bluegrass Festival (CO), and Mountain Stage (WV). After pursuing a second career as a therapist, she is excited to finally return to her Midwest roots, and looks forward to playing a country-blues mix of Village Tap standards and some lesser known B-Side Deep Cuts of personal favorite artists. The down-to-earth embrace of kindness and community that Manchester and The Village Tap offer is something she is grateful to participate in.
