Walk Sliabh Beagh โ Celebrate the Knockatallon Way!
Join us for a guided group walk along the breathtaking Trรก Walk, one of the most loved Knockatallon waymarked trails on Sliabh Beagh.
On Saturday 26th July 2025, meeting at the Sliabh Beagh Hotel, Knockatallon, Co. Monaghan, H18 H985.
Registration: From 9:30am
Walk begins: 10:00am sharp
Distance: Approx. 12km
Duration: 2-2.5 hours
Terrain: A mix of gravel paths and moorland
Difficulty: Moderate
This looped trail offers stunning views, peaceful forest tracks, and a chance to experience the wild beauty of Lough Antrawer.
Suitable gear - Hiking boots are advised. Rucksack with sufficient supplies for the duration of the hike - water& snacks is also advised.
Refreshments will be provided on return to the Sliabh Beagh Hotel.
This event will be Free, as part of the 25th Anniversary Celebrations and celebrating 25 years of the Knockatallon Way Marked Walks.
