Curator-Led Tour: Eventually Everything Connects

Join us for a curator-led tour of "Eventually Everything Connects: Mid-Century Modern Design in the US," guided by our MillerKnoll Curatorial Fellow, Bridget Bartal.

The exhibition’s title is drawn from a quote by Cranbrook alumnus and teacher Charles Eames: “Eventually everything connects: people, ideas, objects.” Exploring the relationships between these three fundamental pillars, the exhibition contains some 200 works by nearly 100 designers.

On the tour, you’ll be guided through this large-scale survey of mid-century modern design, focusing particularly on the women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and designers of color who contributed to this ever-iconic movement.

Please plan to arrive no later than 4:45pm to participate in this tour. Ticketholders arriving after 5pm will not be admitted to the museum. Tours meet in Main Gallery, at the entrance to the exhibition.
