Join us for a hands-on clay experience where you'll create your very own custom butter dish using traditional hand-building techniques. Perfect for beginners and experienced potters alike, this workshop offers a relaxed, creative atmosphere to explore working with durable stoneware clay.
Under the guidance of an experienced ceramic artist, you’ll learn slab-building, shaping, and joining methods to craft a functional and beautiful butter dish—perfect for everyday use or as a unique gift. We’ll also discuss design elements, textures, and finishing techniques to personalize your piece.
*This is a two Step process class.*
-Your first step will be joining your class to create this project from scratch. Once your item is created it will need to dry and go through its first kiln firing. This takes approximately 2-3 weeks.
-For your second step you will receive a text stating that your item is ready to paint. Painting your item does not require a class or an appointment, walk in any time & paint your project. After being painted it will go through its Second kiln firing. The last step takes approximately 1-2 weeks; you will get your final text to pick up your piece!
