For the first half of the performance, enjoy the whimsical play, Mr. Toad, based on the 1908 novel, Wind in the Willows, directed by Madge Montgomery. This short comedic play by A.A. Milne follows the escapades of the irresponsible Mr. Toad who has fallen in love with a new-fangled invention, the automobile. However, Mr. Toad proves to be a terrible driver.
His friends, Mole, Rat, and Badger attempt to intervene, but Mr. Toad's reckless behavior lands him in court with hilarious results. Will he be able to defend his case?
Act II brings us into the world of William Shakespeare!
This portion of the show features scenes and monologues from “Taming of the Shrew”, “Winter’s Tale”, “Midsummer Night’s Dream “, and more! They portray comedy, action, a little bit of romance, and a dog! Everyone will find something to love!
