Pete Roberts at Flow Bar

Pete Roberts is based in Kendall, on the NSW East Coast. He is no stranger to the Flow Bar stage, having shared his sounds a few times in recent years. He delivers an acoustic roots blend of indie soft rock, folk and blues, infused with passion and sentiment. Pete's one-man band approach is driven by rhythmic playing of his self-built acoustic guitars, stomp box and foot snare 'n' tambo combo.

Pete's vocals draw attention, swaying between soothing and soaring, with warm, soulful and husky tones that are well harmonised. He aims for intimate, authentic story telling with his original songs and choice of eclectic covers. Pete also adds flavour with occasional beatboxing, guitar percussion, kazoo cameo's and looping of various instruments.

Pete switches between finger picking and energetic strumming with some unconventional chords to deliver a unique, fresh and unpredictable musical journey. Pete’s original song writing often steers away from the common rhyming lyrics and standard verse/chorus structure, connecting with the crowd by creating an intimate and special experience for all.

Pete has performed at venues across NSW, with a highlight as a support act for Alex Lloyd on his 2024 NSW regional tour. Pete will be road-testing some tunes set to be recorded later in 2025.
