Our third Saturday work task will be held on the 19th of July from 10am till 12 noon at Honley Old Woods.
We will be carrying out Himalayan Balsam control, this is an invasive species which we remove by hand pulling, and is a great task for everyone to get stuck into.
Meeting point will be in the Honley Old Woods car park, we will then walk through the woods to the balsam area together. Parking is limited, so if you are unable to get a spot in the actual car park there is usually space in the layby on the road above the woodland.

Everyone is welcome (whether you`ve never volunteered before or are a regular volunteer)! All the equipment and training support is provided.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone!
