MSR-1 Modern Sporting Rifle Fundamentals

This Course Is A Great First Step In Building Your Foundation For Safe Handling And Operation Your Rifle. Our instructors will evaluate each student and tailor their class to meet the needs of each student. This course is perfect for novices looking for an introduction to the safe operation to various firearms and prepare them for accelerated version of these classes.

RIFLE-1 COVERS THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:

• Students will have an understanding of and be able to describe basic firearm safety.
o Safely handling the modern sporting rifle
o 4 firearm safety rules
o How to talk to your kids about gun safety
o Range rules & etiquette
• Students will have a basic understanding of the operation of the modern sporting rifle, to include:
o Component identification
o Care and cleaning
o Loading/unloading and clearing.
o Marksmanship fundamentals
o Ammunition Types

$160 for civilians / $144.10 for first responders, LE and active military. Classes are 4 hours long.
