On Saturday, August 9th, the Mountain Life Museum will host the 2nd Annual Appalachian Craft Fair, also known as the Moonlight Makers Market, during the Laurel County Homecoming. This event will showcase over 20 artisans demonstrating traditional Appalachian crafts, including Master Blacksmith Hank Gevedon, Master Broom maker Chris Robbins, Mohawk storyteller Susan Mullins, and 19th-century Wet Plate Photographer Chris Propes. The event will run from 11 am till 7 pm, and in celebration of the Laurel County Homecomings 90th anniversary, this is a complimentary event. Bring your family and take a step back in time to experience the region's rich cultural heritage!
